Hello outdoor growers my weather has been great this year!!
Nice sunshine trough the day heavy rains weekly what can be better?
I remember how fucked`up it was when the weather just wouldn't do me right
The years without rain or even worse the whole month september without any sunshine.......
Weather sure can be cruel to us outdoor growers some years and then reward us the next :comfort:

So how is your weather this year????

Guide to Rain Making

1. Water plants.
2. Wait for torrential rains to spring from blue skies. It won't take long.

If it does take more than a few hours, overwater the next time. That always does the trick.

Kidding aside, we've had fuckall rain this year. I don't grow outdoors beyond a few hot peppers thankfully. Boys in the woods probably aren't having fun. The dams around here aren't projected to run during the summer and plan to hold back every litre they can.

I bet every guerrilla grower loves a nice rain after a couple of hot days in the summer

Less watering trips=less chance of getting spotted=less work=bigger plants its just great i love it when it rains.

If weather keeps up might not have to water at all this year witch is crazy.

I despise rain. Its usually too much and the attendant humidity just encourages botrytis, mildew and other creepy shit to flourish. I wish just one year Mother Nature would let me handle the watering..........I'll show a little more restraint.

Well thats strange you already get these nasties in the vegetative stage i can only imagine how flowering can be for you.
Are you a guerrilla grower? did you think about switching strains?
I love humidity in the growth faze that with the high heat gets my plants going in to high gear

It's been raining for a week now and it's screwing up my schedule but better now then in the fall.

Way to many over cast days for my liking. The rain I don't mind a bit, this time of year.

Yeah those are the worse but in vegg its not a big problem a little stretch maybe hope not to bad do.
An as bad as the weather gets dont forget it always changes so the suny days will com hope for a hot and sunny fall so that the buds get big and strong :D

I didn't say I already had these issues, they being "incubated" as I write this. 79f dew point and 89% humidity are ideal conditions for crap to come. I don't grow in the bush anymore, strictly backyard so I have very good control over my situation. On the average I lose between 7% to 25% to botrytis. I don't see this as a reflection on my skills (or lack thereof) as a gardener, just on what I'm willing to apply to control this stuff. I've been doing this for awhile, so I have an idea about what strains produce well for me..........

So your a backyard grower that explains a lot.I see why you hate the rain you have water on hand at any time that makes sens.
I was suggesting that some strains may handle this disease better than what you grow right now.
Also pruning for better light penetration and air flow might help.Maybe you tried this things i dont know just trying to help.
I get the not spraying the plants im against it as well whats sick gets cut by me so only the strong go on.
I hope your plants stay healthy.

I like a good rain followed by some sun and heat to dry things out. All day rain with little solar radiation and no heat sucks, especially cuz most of my plants are auto's and need to be GROWING right now...
