Actually, it is less than funny....it is the cause of 99% of the problems threatening our species.

The present misogynist, malignant resource-hoarding-as-a-control-method patriarchal system started when women lost their input and voice in the direction of human society, and mono-culture farming, cities and kings became the rule.

In balanced societies, or matriarchal ones, people do not rape their only home and source of life until it is dead and barren......rape is an exclusively male trait. Women don't rape, and men in matriarchal societies don't rape either. When they do, it is talked about for decades.

Most of this shit comes from small-egoed, small-peckered men who cannot accept the fact that biologically we are disposable after we father children. They cannot create life (or at least beyond providing the initial squirt), so they create machines, cities and power structures to make up for it. In essence, they are afraid of women and their power to create life, and need to justify their own existance with artificial, controling ways.
This has led to a devaluation of women, thier role and their input...for thousands of years.

Men have held political and religious sway for close to 7000 years in most parts of the world...and we have screwed the pooch in a very big way. Misogynist, resource-hoarding malignant patriarchy is in it's end game now....and we are paying heavily for accepting it for so long.

Unless we drop the present bullshit as a ruling paradigm and learn from societies where men AND women have an equal say and equal veto power in the process of determining the direction of our species and the form of our society, we are truely fucked.

genki i don't think i'm missing the point...the larger point that i'm trying to make in my post is that feminism doesn't really stand on its own merit when its principles are extrapolated to their natural conclusions...the standard discussion of 'feminism' and women's (or womyn's if u prefer, i was indundated with that horseshit in college) rights is just so trite, and it is mainly hijacked by academics or the kind of women execs i alluded to in my previous post...this is so that they can control other women and insulate their authority over what women should want and how they should go about getting it...in fact now that i write it all down it seems like they are doing exactly the kinds of things they rail on men for doing! imagine that!

I am not talking about superficial inequalities, but rather the shape of a society that has had no real female input or influence for over 5000 years.
I am NOT talking about making women equal to men in the workplace, pay equity and all the rest of it....I am talking about a much deeper equality, where women and their input into the future shape of society are valued and respected as much as men's. Native Americans with their women's and men's councils are a good example. Decisions are made after looking at them from both perspectives, both male and female.

I am not pushing or condoning modern feminism and the political bullshit that goes along with it...I am talking about a VERY BASIC paradigm change on every level.

And as long as you actually believe the part of your post I bolded, you will continue to miss the point.
You tout men as being "biologically superior when it comes to rationally making decisions"......well let me ask you this:


Is creating a societal model that is non-sustainable and perpetuating it when it is known to be self-destructive rational?

my point is that u need both, and that in today's society i feel women have usurped the roles men are suited for, and men are not as good at fitting into roles women are usually better at...the end result of that is a lot of frustrated men and women who have an extremely artificial notion of life...
