watts per sq/ft..?

how many watts per sq/ft do you guys grow with.

I have 2.25 sq ft and 150w to put me at 66w/sqft. May try 111w/sqft with a 250 just to get a deeper canopy.

I use 32watt for veg and 72 watts for flower but I flower with floros.

sometimes 100 wpsf...but usually just 50

was running 106 but just downsized to 80 which is still plenty. if your gonna be running higher wpsf just keep your eyes peeled for light bleaching. I have had to raise my lights in each instance as the plants started showing symptoms. running co2 is a bit trickier in higher wpsf environments too (heat builds up quicker), and realistically the only way the plant will even take full advantage of all that light is w/ co2, but once you get it all dialed in its definitely worth the effort, hth

try MH at high light density and you'll get HPS yields with tighter better quality buds.

400W / (2' x 4') = 50W/sq ft

Recently I was given a 1500W MH ballast and even briefly considered trying to use it in the existing grow space, until the reality of cooling it set in. LOL
