Water ph

Hello All,

I would like to know what water ph that workd best for a soil grow. My tap is in the 9's. So I have been ph'ing down to 6.1 or 6.2. Now I have discovered my runoff is coming in at 5.4 or 5.5. Can someone enlighten me please. There seems to be disparity in my brain. Please help and thanks.

What is the ph of your soil? Seems to me that your soils ph could be a bit off.

When watering, the ph level you use (6.1.-6.2.) is perfect. Maybe if your concerned with the runoff ph, set the ph of the water up, it should balance the runoff. Ph starts to rise after 8 hours or so, and at the same time different nutrients get absorbed within the plants system. Keep controlling the ph like you are doing. Good stuff!

Do you have any kind of visible symptons? If not, nothing to worry, keep doing what you are doing!

Here is a chart do see what nutrients get locked out in what ph levels.

Do you have your soil amended with anything? Is there nutrients in the water you give? Did you add lime, oyster shells for ph buffering?

Also for you to want to check the run off, do you have visible deficiencies showing? No one can help you if you don't provide pertinent information. Also pics speak volumes. Peace!

Thanks for answering my questions. Now to answer yours. Happy Frog soil with perlite, exhibiting a nitrogen or magnesium nutrient block. Leaves are turning yellow. I believe I begged to long. Soil buffering is no longer working. 4 weeks into flower...so I'm trying to figure it out. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks for any and all information.

Why not add some lime my man. I believe the ratio is a cup a gallon not completely sure but know it will solve your ph problems
