Hear me out and share your input.
Im gonna start to do some experiments to see if i can find any noticeable difference.
My theory here is that many things inside the plant matter are water soluble like chlorophyll yet we all know THC is not.So would soaking the plant matter in mutable baths(or even one time)help get rid of some impurities before the solvent does its thing.

Every time you handle the material, some trichomes fall off, so if you wash, filter the water.

There are water soluble proteins holding the chlorophyll in place, and washing those away makes the chlorophyll available to the solvent. We have better luck freezing the material and doing a quick wash extraction.

so what you are saying is that it will effectively do the exact opposite of what i had planned?.
i once made BHO after running buds threw bubble bags and i could have sworn i remember it being exceptional BHO.
i cant wait to do some side by side experiments.

So i did some research and found that the chlorophyll-binding protein (WSCP)."WSCP is soluble in water, and mostly insoluble in polar alkaline alcohols and non polar alkanes."
this seems to support my theory, no?

edit i foiund what youi are sayin to me
http://skunkpharmresearch.com/chlorophyll-pickup-in-extractions/

"Sooooo, back to my summary, it appears that some solvents can wash away the cement binding the chlorophyll in the plant cells and free the chlorophyll to be washed away as a micelles, but it also exposes the chlorophyll to the solvent, which in the case of alcohol, will readily dissolve it and hold it in solution.
Freezing the material prior to an extraction, may be holding both the chlorophyll and the WSCP locked up in ice, so that neither the water present or the solvent can reach the chlorophyll."

You don't make bho with bubble bags... and yes water is used in bho and hash to wash the product.... after the run.

I said i made BHO after i used the bubble bags i didnt make BHO with bubble bags...(c'mon bro, BUTANE hash oil with bubble bags?)

please show me a "tek that people use to wash there extract with water.

I used to blast directly into water and people said this was the worst thing to do and told me to go back to the 90's.

So why would washing in water be any different?

haven't tried it. I do a water cure on stuff I am going to make butter with. def helps. for iso I been happy freezing the weed and alcohol and doing quick 30 wash or so. even use the blender occasionally
