Water chiller question?

This maybe be a stupid question but! what kind of water pump do you use with your water chiller? i thought the pump was part of the chiller lol. anyone

Read the instruction manuel it wiil tell you they have gph min/max for each chiller.

most require a 200 gph to 400 gph, pumps are not usually built in

you would not need one becuase it is drop in the res that cool goes inside the res.

Drop in chillers are the shit ,but they`re definitely pricier...No pumps or flow restriction either.....I`ve got an aqua-logic 1/2 hp and it cost out the ass but it hardly ever comes on cuz it works so well when it does kick on, so you get what yas pay for.......Peace......DHF.......

This is what I use, I've had 2 of these for several years and just ordered another for my EZ clonner. In my grow room I have a 50 gal. res and run 3-600 & 1- 1000hps, In the summertime I do work the chiller hard, last year I put in a A/C unit to keep temps at 82 degrees, all works nfine.

Hey man...how big is your res? I got a 100 gal and am planning on getting the 1/3 hp from Aqualogic.

Adverse............It`s always better to go larger and not have as much heat to worry about so your unit does`nt haveta work as hard ya know?........My rez is a bunch bigger than yours tho........Peace.....DHF.......
