Wassertech watering system: Anyone who knows it?

Hello to everyone, it's been one month and a half since i started my autoflowering grow in my 7'x7' grow tent and i have literally no space to put other plants, let alone move freely in my grow tent. I have gotten tired of taking some plants out everytime (some in 4 gal containers and others in 5 gals) to hand water each of them properly. Besides that, because i have the bulbs vertically placed, moving around is even more difficult and there are quite a few occasions where i accidentally snipped a bud or two while moving around to water.

This has to stop and for that reason i thought about buying an automatic watering system with reservoir since i cannot and do not want to water straight from the tap. At first i thought about blumats but the only growshop i have around does not carry them for now and ordering from the net will demand minimum a week, i have to do something really fast. The only product considering auto watering that the local grow shop has is one called Wassertech auto watering system. It says it is suitable for 10 plants.

It is a full set, comes with a timer and a water pump. Here is a youtube video showing it in action:

Your thoughts? Anything better i could use? This system comes at 50$, seems fairly priced to me. :tiphat: I really need to do something, 20 gallons every 3 days are a lot when you can't move comfortably. A royal pain in the ass to say the least. Thankfully i am growing them babies in organic soil mix and they need nothing other than water. If i had to measure PPMs, check PH, do calibrations etc, it would really be a nightmare! Imagine that it has become unbearable now!

I never setup my blumats, dont even know where they are.. I tend to use gravity fed res with homemade wand.. if ya cant get to plants how do ya know when to water? some plants use more than others. a problem blumats overcome.. I tried several kits for self watering. always ended up with some plants overwatered and if adjusted then some underwatered.good luck man

Thank you for the reply! I have been intrigued by blumats many times in the past, i really want to give them a try!

But there are some things troubling me besides their unavailability for now:

1)Need to use an elevated rez, the things are in my grow room i can't elevate the rez above pot level.

2)I have seen many reports of users who failed with them and they required constant maintenance.

3)For each 5 gallon pot, i have seen that 2 cones are recommended for each of them. That means double the money and i am on a very tight budget right now.

These are the reasons i am leaning towards a traditional automatic watering system. With this one or something similar, at least i know water will be getting to them properly.

You asked how i know when to water. After 3 days, i have noticed that they are beginning to wilt slightly, this is showing me that they need water soon. Two of them are constantly more droopy than the rest though, this troubles me.

The 5 gallon pots require 1.5 gallon of water every 3 days, the 7 gallon pots require 2.5 gallons of water every 3 days to get minimum runoff by them (since i have an organic grow i don't chase excessive runoff).

I don't know if in reality they need more because i tend to pour much water at each of them when i am watering very fast straight from water bottles. I get impatient when i have to pour it little by little and it would literally take me 8 hours to water each time that way.

I lose a whole afternoon or night every 3 days even by watering fast. And i know its not right to water that way but i don't have any other option. They say that each grow is as good as its weakest link. Watering is definitely the weakest link in my grow and this needs to change somehow. So, i am really open to suggestions guys and i will thank you really kindly for that! :tiphat:
