Was cannabis reclassified in the uk last week?

Hiya,,as I understand it,,cannabis was due to be re-classified as a cat c last Thursday,,,I didn't see anything on the news,,anybody else seen or heard anything?,,s2

Apparently no change to cannabis, only to Ketamine, unless more announcements are coming.

Ketamine, also known as Special K, will be reclassified from Class C to B in the face of mounting evidence over its physical and psychological harms.

Government drug advisers have warned that users as young as 20 are being condemned to a “lifetime sentence” after having their bladders removed due to heavy consumption of the drug.

As a Class B drug – alongside amphetamines and cannabis – people caught with it in their possession could face up to five years in prison and dealers could be jailed for up to 14 years.

Irony at it's finest.

While some parts of the World is pushing MMJ, others (atleast in there act) blind folded deny the medicinal properties. Futhermore it decrease information about the whole aspect, usage, guidelines, etc. , so propaganda is widely spread , making troubles even bigger, especially for youths.
