**Warning** Timer Shock Hazard

Just spotted this in the news paper.......

Intermatic DT27 Digital Self-Adjusting Timers (made in China) have been recalled because the timers could have been wired incorrectly thus posing a shock hazard!! The timers were sold at Home Depot and Lowe's from Feb. through Dec. 2007.

Heads up everyone!

They have a date code of O4B.

Make sure you are not using one of these timers.......stay safe.

arrrghhh!

i have 2 of those. so now i have to buy 2 timers send the old ones back to intermatic, then wait for 2 more.

Almost bought one of these today at home depot, luckily at the checkout counter it rang up as recalled and they wouldn't sell it. GJ letting everyone that already has one know!

Not ALL of the timers are affected. Only those with a date code of 04B. I have 2 of these and neither are affected. SO before you go ripping them down and buying new ones, check the little sticker on the back and see what it says.
