WARNING: Powerbox "Legendary" Warranty

I've had my Powerbox for a year. It's been mounted on the wall. I noticed slow flower development and began to question things. Turns out the unit forgot it was a timer and has been stuck in the "on" position and has re-vegged my entire room at the beginning of week 6. Yes it is broken, the LCD is 'frozen' on a time -- even when reset. I'm really stoked.

I call them, they don't answer during business hours. I leave a message, nothing is returned. What a stand up company! Fuck out of here with this legendary warranty bullshit.

Moral of the story: have your sparky setup an Intermatic timer for your lights or you will be sorry. I was warned and now I am punished.

Powerbox is CRAP. The controllers they build are not code compliant to either CEC or NEC requirements. Having a standard UL certification does not make equipment safe. If you want custom electrical work by a qualified electrician, send an email to [email protected]

My Green Planet in Canada doesn't carry Powerbox anymore, too many issues and returns, the new Honeywell timer they use is not reliable.
