Warning--Large webpage snapshot--Found something a bit eerie

I had this little brainfart to run a seach on my user name. Well, googling it brough up a cached page from the ol' Cannabliss Cafe topic list from OG, and a couple thousand cached IC pages. That didn't really bother me much......It was the Yahoo search that disturbed me a bit......




At the bottom of the search results, this is what sent a chill up my spine:


Doesn't say shit about having any OG snippets cached, just says "More from this site"


Not the fact that it's out there that I find disturbing, it's the fact that any random idiot could run a search for something from OG & actually click the link...And who knows who's watching you.

It's just extreamely creepy & chilling to know that the site still sends out a "ping response" (whoever tested that not too long ago was an ICer, I believe) and just as creepy to see it out there as apparently active through a link, not merely cached....Is there even a destination for the site anymore? Anybody know what resides at that ol' address?

Nothing is ever lost on the internet, there is an archive somewhere, bear this in mind and don't say anything you wouldn't want brought up later and you'll be fine.

I think it's still one big, dark mystery, NYC.....The last thing I remember hearing was something regarding RC going to court around this time last year. Not a word after that (as far as I remember)

im so dumb.. i clicked on the pics to enlarge them then sat there for a good 30 seconds trying to click the link to see if it worked.. only to realize.. its a damn picture... yeah the paper trail still left in the various corners of the internet is very disturbing... the computer is going to be the end of us all!!! OK.....if you're paranoid about what's on or was on overgrow......then why are you here? Just as much gathered up against you in overgrow is just as incriminating here.

As far as checking deep inside the internet and seeing what's going on and where it's from and from where it came - directly. If you watch the news, you'd already know that your friendly Uncle Sam is already looking and violating every right to privacy you have (or thought you had). Watching your web surfing, reading your emails and pms, ...everything. Not a paranoid statement, but a statement of fact.

All you can do is what you're already doing now - it's about all you can do. Just relax and hope for the best. If they're coming, there ain't a damned thing we can do about it. I'm not holing up in a cave with my face on a deck of cards - wanted, seven of clubs (maybe I'll be lucky and get to be a Jack of Spades or something).
