Want To Grow Trees.....need advice.

I want to finish 6 at 4ft to 5ft as I am more comfortable growing fewer plants.

Can I get some advice regarding plant height at flip to flower, lighting, nutrient (brand and ppm), medium composition, CO2(if necessary)?

I really like soil's dependability and forgiveness and am confident and comfortable using it. If you have other ideas please let me know.

Thanks!

what I would think is get a clone making it a Mother plant and then keeping it until it gets atleast 5 feet tall and 10 feet wide then start the veg cycle thanto flower...OOO indoor you'll get a couple pounds off a plant that big

Holy shit...it is 4/20. How could I not remember that....oh yeah :joint:

I was kinda looking for a no fail recipe to grow larger plants. I was thinking 14 gallon pails, soil, perlite, 2-600w hps? And a decent nutrient schedule. I can't really decide on the nutes though.

I don't need anything that could attract lightning.

4 to 5 foot finish is what I'm after.

theres tons of great nute lineups, you just need to choose one that best suits your needs, style, grow specs, organic or chem, if you go organic may i suggest the foxfarm lineup. they have worked great for me on more than one occasion

The concept of an indoor plant that high baffles me a little. Unless you have a lot of natural light, getting light to all of those buds would be pretty tough. I completely reflective room would be a great start, perhaps even some lower level fluor lighting for supplement. I am by no means any kind of expert, but all things that need to ripen depend on a lot of light to ripen. I grow grapes outside for wine and I had to make sure that they vines got complete daylight for the length of the day and not be shaded by trees or buildings. And you cannot beat natural light and fresh air. The trend is now heading to the sea of green or scrog approach, and it seems to make the best argument for maximum yeild and rapid turnover. In this case the product, the buds, are the only thing really getting light. Lots of minature plants with big buds, all ripening under good exposure to the light. The big tree idea seems like an outdoor project in a place with a long outdoor growing season and that should would mean in the ground and going as we speak (unless you are in the southern hemisphere)

4 to 5 ft outside are in no way trees.

They have found em in cali to 20+ feet.

I have noticed that some plants grow better lower buds than others. I had a domina hybrid that grew lowers very well. I have recently tried a lavender hybrid that didn't seem to do as well compacting lower growth. I think his probably has to do with lighting though. Dom hybrids were grown under 1000 agrosun halide and the lav's were done with a 600 hps.

There is no doubt in my mind that 4 to five footers could be productive top to bottom if lighting and reflectivity are in order.
