as my name states, i live in the desert lol. i run AC like crazy in my house during the summer. i use my central to cool the house as well as my grow and it works fine. my question is if i get a CO2 burner will it be worthwhile? the AC will force a lot of the CO2 out when it kicks on but i figure with a big enough generator it should be ok with my controller and whatnot. everything in my room is air cooled so i dont think it will change temps in there too much. its a good size room like 12x15 or so. i have a tank and emitter that i use for my veg tent but i tank wouldnt last for shit in the whole room. should i just skip the CO2 in flower and just use it in veg how i have it or would it be worth my while to enrich the whole room and pull that co2 enriched air into the veg tent as well? i could then sell my tank and reg to pay for the genny.

I'm not sure I would personally run CO2 in that setup with the way you are cooling it the room. You're right, when the a/c kicks on in the house it's going to severely "dilute" the PPM all the while air will be getting pulled from the room via the negative/positive pressure relationship with inside/outside the room. Sealing off the room and running it under a high positive pressure wouldn't exactly be the fix either. I think you will be going through more CO2 than it'd be worth it. Seal the room, as well as the supply duct(s) in the room and get a mini-split or dual hose portables. Much more bang for your buck, and the plants will actually be able to utilize the CO2 enrichment.

You also would have to make sure your hoods are as air-tight as possible as well. Even running a sealed room, you'd be surprised how quickly leaky hoods can burn up your CO2.

That's my opinion. Good luck!

thanks. thats pretty much what i expected to hear. i actually have a nice unused mini split but i dont wanna run it here since my bills in the summer are crazy already. not even from my lights, just the 110 deg temps lol. i run about 2.5k most of which is run off peak at a cheap rate. its the daytime ac use that kills me. i will soon be moving the grow to its own spot and i will install the mini split and buy the genny at that time.

Hydro-Gen water cooled CO2 generator, in a well sealed room, works wonderfully. I have to run the water from the ggenerator to waste but its not that much as long as things are well sealed. dont take the hoods for granted, if you are running a decent size in-line fan to get the air through the lights then you should get some of that aluminum duct-tape and seal all the hoods properly to ensure that you are not getting your CO2 sucked out of the room.
