If anybody wants me to edit or mangle or play with their pictures PM me .....

I've done a few though not all too spectactular.....

a few blends,a few mangles,a edit or so......
nobody has ever offered to pay me,so i guess im not too good

but take advantage if you like i usually do these when im bored.

I suggest not going so overboard with the filters.
Sum of those pics are just too much. lol

yeah, I'm with stewie.

Good design means a well thought out composition and good initial ideas.

Filters should be used only if they enhance the design, not just for the sake of it, and don't use as many as you can on each piece, it's the classic mistake of every new photoshop user - going mad with the effects & filters, when they should be used to subtly enhance designs.

Remember you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear - the design/starting material has got to be good to begin with.

keep practicing, that's all it takes (that & listening to some constructive criticism)

nice avatar, I used to have a pipe just like that.

I've been thinking, on that bottle rocket pic it'd be cool if you could put an outer space or a starry night type background instead of that grey. Just a thought

thanks for the tips i'll keep them in mind....
but think of it this way im chopping pieces out of images....
I use the filters to mask flaws in the pics

i guess sometimes you can have too much ....
but 'tis ok,im just practicing.....

They are definitely not eye sores. Everyone has opinions. I think they look stellar. Wish I had a fraction of your guys talent with art. I am handicapped when it comes to that. SP

..certainly not eyesores!

Try using the pen/path tool to trace out what you want from your picture source precisely (this takes a fair bit of practice, but it's well worth it) then 'make selection from path' - use this method and you shouldn't have to use as many filters to cover up the glitches.

If you want any work to go to print in the future remember you have to work at 300dpi (thats 4 times larger than screen resolution)
