Ya it'll all work out. It just sucks losing all them fire strains. Although I did back up the glue and blueberry locally... Higher ceilings is definitely the goal lol at least 8ft. Back to square one.
I'll still be around, consulting at other locations just not posting pictures.

So considering some new lighting. Looking for opinions and pros/cons. Led or cmh are what I'm thinking. My last led experience was bad and I've had nothing but good things to say about cmh.
I'm looking at a few leds. Mars ts3000, hlg 550, rt 480. Light needs to cover at least a 4x4 efficiently. Would prefer 1k equality lol

I have been reading and reading and want to make the LED jump too. I have been leaning towards to the HLG type lights (kingbrite versions) and really like them but I am on the fence about the strip style lights such as the Gavita or Fluence style as they seem to have more even canopy coverage.

I would certainly be looking for one that includes IR and UV lighting as well.

So I was reading the Mars sp3000 has the UV diodes but to be as efficient as a 1k I'd need 2 units and that's like 800$. I was also suggested r2t? They look ok and say they have a 480 watt hlg550 killer.

So I'm constructing a PVC drain and manifold for my trays so I can maximize my 7ft of height. Only issue I'm running into is my trays are drilled for ebb and flow fittings. I can use one to a hose barb for drain but I'm not sure on a drip manifold for the other hole. Is there a way to close it off and run a manifold on top of the trays ??

Ya I'm considering the hlg 550 r myself at the price point. I checked out the Mars sp3000 and the ts 3000 and Ive also looked at the r2t 480. It's designed to be a copy of the hlg 550 but I'm a little leery of it not having any warranty for the cost....even though for the cost of one hlg I could get 2 of the r2t....

Hey SG, check out alibaba and look for kingbrite. Basically cutting out the middleman.

Ya I looked into those and meijui I think it was. I just decided to drop the cash on a hlg. I didn't want to experiment at this point in time. Wanted a proven product.

New room who dis??

So far I've got my drain and feed worked out. Lighting on the way. Going with an hlg550rv2 for now and I'll add another after I see how this one does. Space is 4.5 wide, 11 long and 7 tall. Led is going to be my best bet on this one with the trays dropped to maximize height. Going DTW Coco probably 10 plants per tray.

Dropped 2 packs. 1 of some sherb x dubsidos made by the homie and a pack of some sticky gingers( super glue #5 x 2000s afgoo) that came with the sherbs.
Great germ rate with the sherbs, all but 1 popped so far after 24 hrs.

Super glue 5 x 2000s afgoo all popped except 1. I'd say the method works pretty well .

Rooms coming together. Just waiting on exhaust fan and my mylar. Then just gotta get the seed plants big enough since I'm not running any clones atm . I'm thinking 5 to 10 per tray per 550 hlg. Got one for now and hopefully after this first cycle I'll grab another if it works. It's super bright though so I think for my trays and space it'll work well.

So far so good. Pretty good germ rates all around. Sherb x on left ginger on right. Hoping to find a real heavy afgoo leaner in the gingers. They'll get dropped in Coco sometime this week once I kinda harden them off to atmospheric conditions in the room....

Yes there should definitely be some fire in these beans. Hoping to get back to a few clone only eventually as well. Would love to find the forum again but she may be gone for good.

Got the exhaust fan mounted now just waiting on mylar. Once that gets here, I'll clean and bleach the room again and do a final poly seal for the door way. These s line fans definitely move some air. I highly recommend them. A little pricey but they have a 10 years warranty and a sealed bearing system. I went 8 inch on the fan and 6 inch on can lite filter . Filters rated for 600 CFM and fan 735 so I'll turn it down to a little below 3/4 speed. Filter is definitely overkill for my 11x4.5x7 space.
