I usually veg for 20 to 30 days. Just until there close to a ft tall. Put a pic up. Nutrient wise bump it if you notice the tops yellowing. But wait like 5 days in between adding so you have time to see over or under fert effects..and yes i just flood once a day.

oh okay...just when i read what sog type stuff on web says flip after a few days i wanna just double check cause im paranoid...not to question you at all...yeah the yellowing was what i was thinking last night but it seemed worse last night but looks better today...a little yellowing of clones is normal kinda right or no? the pictures are of the worse ones the rest are fully green and look healthy to me...

Id say dilute the mix just a little. Looks a little strong for a couple of them.if the majority of them look healthy just leave it. Those will eventually grow into it. Spray them all as often as possible w ph water..itll help those smaller ones not show as much overfert.. also ya, iimo those are still a little on the small side to flip.

If the plant is a pretty decent size, id go straight into a 3 or 5 gal smart pot. As for prep for transplant, fill the pot a little under half with l.w. then set plant in and bury. Also at this point you can pull the wrapper off the cube. make sure to pack the sides of the pot with dirt so its not super loose. Also id add your supports after transplant. With the smart pots I water by weight. I feel how it is dry then add till its heavy. Then im not watering every single day...

What strains did you keep for moms?? Closet looks good. Should work for your situation. Just make sure you cut clones at 45 50 days if your running 70 day cycles. Most strains are 70 ish for me...

all the new cuttings are from the White Widow mother(says 55-65 days flowering time) and other mother plant is Afghani (also 55-65)....all the cuttings look healthy and are now between 4 3/4" to 6" tall...how much longer till the flip would you recommend?:tiphat:

You want them to be pretty close to 12 inches. I just flipped a tray of cookies, ill get some pics up...If you take some of the scraggly stuff off the bottoms, it will help speed up growth up top. Overall they look nice and healthy. Afghanis and widow should have a pretty similar growth pattern, christmas tree like with a nice center cola and thick sides. I ran a nice mazar i sharif afghani that was one of my favorites a few years back...

was just about to ask you if i should trim them up a bit..okay i was just asking cause all the SOG stuff I read says to flip around 6 inches so i was just making sure...ya they have really taken off grow and health wise im excited...so if i flip at 12" how tall will they be at harvest approx you imagine? and on most of these i can trim these lower branches in the pic

Ya them lowers can be trimmed. A true sog ya youd flip small but run the tray jam packed as well. If you flip at around a foot they can end up anywhere from 1.5 to 3ft. I flipped my glue trays at 1 ft and they ended at 3 ft. Heres my 600w. Glue tray at 40

Gorilla glue#4.. very easy to grow, definately needs support due to flimsy stems but super potent. Best in my city right now comes from me lol. When the glue hits the market, my other strains sit still...until i start hoarding ..

Ya you can always tell when someone grows it right or not. Take it full term and its some top shelf for sure. Also keep the temperatures in check or it gets a little fluffy. I had 1 day where it was 86 in the room and a couple tops had a bad hair day on me lol.
