It would help and environment does play a big factor, but you have about the same humidity as i do in my room. Mine stays 16 percent in my 1k room and 45 50 percent in my sealed 600 room. The low humidity doesnt effect my quality or yield that ive noticed..if your going to worry about an environmental factor, make sure that temperature stays under 85...

ok cool...yeah i have it between 78-80 F max temperatures...so you saying its really not that important and 16-20% is def good...or should I def get one in there?

ps. ill finally make my own thread later so we can end the 4 months of me constantly high-jacking your thread...my bad bro hahah
pss. nevermind im an idiot and read your post wrong at first...thought your saying not to...but if it will help things im gonna go grab one for sure

Sturgeon, nice bud shots! The second one is my favorite the overhead of a top starting to bloom in the purple light. Gg4 looks beautiful if a bit wimpy but it's still only 45 days in. It's so frosty.

OK so %16 RH.......
?

How is it that you don't have any leaves cupping or anything? I thought leaves would fold if humidity was that low as average. I'm dealing with the opposite. Very high humidity. It's great for now! Plants are veggggggiiiing so hard right now. My tent I showed you guys, those plants are booming! Getting the stretch, if they don't stop soon I'll have to take some branches. That will be a shame because it's a sea of tops.... They were trained to have 4-6 main colas, what would happen, a sea of popcorn?

Kizane,

Your plants will grow faster and be healthier if your humidity is higher, in bloom you will may could have problems if your humidity is higher than 50.

I keep my plants healthy lol. My hydro plants grow faster than soil already. My sealed room runs 40 50 percent humidity and between the 2 i dont see anysort of differences and i run all the same strains in both rooms...if you top the main colas the apical tops on the sides will be bigger...give me a few more days, oll show yall some thick tops

Thanks chrono. I know Humidity does play a factor but my 1k room has filters and fans on both ends of the the room constantly pulling air out to keep my smell and temperatures in check so its hard to keep my humidity high unless i add a humidifier, which would be impossible for me unless i add another breaker...

Sounds better to me but sturgeon is running low humidity and says it's fine. I'd say the proof is in the pudding.

If your plants aren't stressing then neither should you I've caused more problems in some cases trying to chase unrealistic numbers, whether it's ideal ec or staying with a vpd chart. If your plants look fine chances they are fine.

Kizane,

I was pruning some plants and I thought of you so I took some pics using a branch as an example of how to top a plant and prepare the cut. I took the cut in this case with 4-5 nodes so that when stripping the lower leaves and shoots of the cut the cambium layer is exposed in at least 2 places. The cut would then be given some clone gel on its stem and put in a cloner or medium, rapid rooters, anywhere it can root.
