The reason you can't do that with autos is because you can't manipulate their veg time with the photoperiod. Ala you cut clones and by the time they root they would be half way to blooming out forever.

Not sure how long autos go for I'd say 3-4 months

Hey I heard it from someone here. I've read a lot of threads and some I try to join and contribute but I find so much cool info and people aren't complete ly paranoid about posting pics so much anymore so we get to see all kinds of different setups and sometimes if lucky an insight into methods and how people work. Seeing the process is where its at for me. As I'm still learning, big time and working out my own process and methods. ICmag rocks for this. Not to mention this place is host to some pretty heavy duty real and cool growers.

Sturgeon. Cheers to you for opening the door to your garden for us to see and sharing what you know. Its a pleasure. Thanks man.

Ya i just started a new job myself so my schedule of making my normal rounds is kinda off lol. I'll have some new pics up sometime either today or tomorrow. Just an update tho. Pp is at 59 days today with a waterchange scheduled for tomorrow to start flushing. Also my 25 gg4 are vegging nicely under a 600mh conversion and my gsc clones are 20 some days in the dome with 1 barely showing roots which is weird because normally by now theyre going into 4x4 cubes...

What the heck is it with clones lately? This is just my end but I've had about a %20 success rate for the past few months. I just took 3 clones and going back to my old method of popping them in moist coco, corner of the veg tent and leave them to the wolves.

I hope those girls take off, is gsc any harder than any other strains to clone?

Ive never had a problem with it before this batch. I think its due to the cubes i used. They were very old and i was out of my normal kind so i used them. Ill give this dome another week and if i dont see improvement they will be tossed and ill cut new ones.

Amen bro...couldn't say it better...since day one of starting to build my setup It has been daily regime of researching and filling up a binder with notes of any i felt important,diagrams-charts-schedules etc etc that I felt would be helpful to a noob especially learning how setup-style is best for what I'm looking for...Ive browsed so much but in my opinion pictures are so necessary and helpful...thats why when I saw sturgeon's setup with just the cubes straight without containers I had to drop a question about it in hope of a little advice...and since then Sturgeon and yourself have been so very cool to my noob ginger ass in calming my nerves answering ever single damn question ive asked with great advice has helped immensely...reading from print helps but talking it out with you guys has helped a ton...hopefully i can get anything half as cool as what sturgeon is producing.... thanks again fools:tiphat:

Wow just wanted to say, at first glance it didn't register how massive those buds are. Damn and nary a fan leaf those stickers are all bud. It looks so very nice as well. Cotton candy consistency.... It looks like to me.

Ya the buds are about as round as a can of shaving cream. The pheno i have grows very sativa like but hits like an indica. I thinned them out pretty well this round so the tray is 25 plants just like this one size wise but this one is kinda a runt in the group yieldwise...

When i say stripped, i mean any lower branches and leaves lower than halfway down the plant that will produce popcorn get taken off. Same concept as lollipoping.. it helps to form bigger buds up top. Since i run a semi sog, light doesnt penetrate to the bottoms very well and id get some fluffy non mature buds if i left it all on the bottom.
