Oh man that's a nice little setup you got there! Damn it looks so empty, but shit you got tons of height and 600w will penetrate pretty good. I've got a 400w and you can see where the light reaches its limits...But I beat that by training a canopy and maximizing space. Man, I can't wait to get a setup like that. Don't worry man, you'll be filling that spot up before you know it.

I almost want to suggest growing a few autos on their own somewhere while you get the veg machine started. Flower out some autos as nd square a way the veg tent. Two birds stoned aye? I know what you mean wanting to just smoke, don't ever chop early it's just never been worth it..[/QUOTE

finnnallly got my hands on some for first time in 3 wks....didnt answer last thing at all lol...so ripped....yeah number #1 priority is just getting any kind of amount for my dad and i...then i can relax and build it all very miticoulsy out from there...guy i met on craigs has storage room of great equipment super cheap...can upgrade to 1000k or leds...cheap just broke now....whats up with the autos-have not really done research on them...grow quickly?

That's all I'm using right now myself. I have thought about hanging it vertical.....You think.you could? hanging like that works great anyways.

$15 is cheap, how many watts? My 250w is covering well over 8sqf no problem for vegging plants. I feel that I could use it to bloom if I did it tight, a even canopy scrog/sog type of thing, so yeah those work good.

and he had his cfl hanging vertically and said they worked great like that

Over a 3x3 tray, you could to go the cheap route and get 2 2 bulb t12 fixtures(regular shop lights) with 6500k bulbs for veg, clone , or mothers. Spectrum will work for it all except flower. Thats what i keep my moms and clones under. Also that 600, could get lowered if you notice the plants starting to get a lil stretchy between the nodes... only downside to autos is once they reach a certain age, regardless of size they start flowering, and theyre almost impossible to clone. Ive ran some 60 day wonder before its a williams wonder autoflower from dna, i was not impressed and the plant came out very small. Yield was maybe 10g off it...not worth it to me.

Thats about the size of tent i have those 2 plants in in the previous mom pic..if you plan on having a mom, vegging and cloning id suggest bigger. Like a 5 x5 tent..

5x5 would work for a veg/clone moyher room of you plan on only running 1 or 2 strains at a time. It could fit a 2x3 tray in and jampack it with 20 cubes(turbogarden) and still leave some room for mothers and clones. Drop 1 single 400 in anf itll provide enough light for all stages. Keep the dome at the far end of the room almost on the floor so it gets the least amount of light.... the size of the room your talking you wont be able to veg the amount to fill the tray...youll jave to monocrop and just take cuts 20 days before current is finished and as soon as its finished veg in the same room

damn ok i see what your saying...just dont have another area right now so dont know hat im gonna do...not too concerned about the amout of dif strains...just main things im concerned about are doing whatever i can to get it going perpetually so i can get some kind of harvest every 30-50 or something so i dont have to go straight from seed everytime ya know...ok thanks as always man back to the drawing board

Space wise if thats all you have to work with your looking at around 100 to 110 day crops. 20 clone, 20 veg 60 70 flower.just gotta time it all right so its back to back. Thats how my glufie room is right now..i dont have space to pit another veg tray so i take my cuts when its 50 in so by 70 75 flowers out, clones in for 20 day veg the repeat...

Post a pic. And ya, I've got a tray of glufies coming out in 10 days so these will take their place. 25ish gg4. All of the dome is rooted except 1

Niice sturgeon, even 24 strong gorilla cuts will make a mess, that's amazing actually. I'm going for that approach of using more plants per square but I need to work on my cloning methods.

That was a close call, I seem to have revived the cuts. I realized that maybe I went a bit too light with the coco mix and they were drying out and not keeping good humidity in the dome. I bottom fed with plain water by letting my cups wick up a good amount of water and misted the tops and the dome more. It seems like I have better successes leaving them with no dome and plenty of water, it seems like once they get used to heavy and humid they wilt so much easier, for lack.

I might lose a few as usual but I'm hoping they do ok, I start a full time job soon so I'm not going to be home all day to nurse my garden anymore. So, could be time to get an official cloning system going, I'll have to look at what you're doing again, you've got it working great.

The upside of having less time for plants is, I'll be getting checks so supplies won't be and stuff won't be as much as a problem anymore. I got some stuff done downstairs today, it's looking pretty good.

If i lose a cut its because i either didnt have space or it was a weak cut. Hardly due to a loss from health...im used to needing every cut to work so i baby the babies

I hear that. Needing every cut to work. I'll get a good method down soon, I've had very good luck so far, until now. Taking almost half of my *cookies unknown plant only to watch them all wither and die and now these starting the same.

I'm guessing since I over saturated the coco last try, this time was too light and airy and so was losing them on that end.....gotta get a set it forget it method going. Perlite is tempting.

Dont over think it. Cloning is very simple once you find a method that works. My method is as simple as it gets and all that gets sprayed is the dome. Jist get some 1.5 aok cubes and a dome setup and itll start being easy...

Sounds good to me, thanks.

I'm tired of not having the tools to do the job. I can't wait to get these things I need to make it work how I need it to. One of the first things I'll get is a nice pair of pruning scissors. I'm sick of botched cuts. That's the worst!
