Yeah, build it! Do it up nice, whatever works, it doesn't have to be perfect. And don't worry in a few weeks you'll start cloning and before you know it you'll run out of room trust me it's easy if you have any kind of light and space. Yup. I need to get a better cloning method going too, so I'll be on the up about cloning methods, I've got a link to a thread that I need to find and I'll share it with you guys.

How do you clone sturgeon? How do you work the magic?

The mom plant that gave me the cuts I'm using for my current grow, I think she was 2-3 months old but had been topped and bent up.for branching many times. I can't wait to see what she gives me.

Second pic is what happens when you want to keep a few plants in veg for "sometime soon" lol. I'm actually giving plants away at this point, too bad there are so few people I know like that.....I have a place for them all eventually, they will not have lived in vain.

Each one of these (out of 10 cuts I kept 6) was taken as a cluster of branches, and rooted. At this point I will take a few cuts to save the line and veg her out again in case I want to run it again. I actually have no clue what kind of plant, your guess is as good as mine, any thoughts?

If you ask mr, the tents work fine for veg, just necause during that time light leaks arent a problem . When i start a new mom i take 2 cuts, veg them for a month or 2 take my tray cuts from both and pick the better of the 2 original for my mom, flower the other. When i veg a mom for 2 3 months in soil, they get pretty big. Heres 2 at 5 months old...

The pp tray is at 32 days today. Itll probably go to 68. The led, im kinda up in the air on right now. I know ill be disappointed if its not producing like my 1k though. It was 500$. Thats gavita money right there...also as for the roots coming out of the bottom, no i don't worry about them, they grow into the tray channels and mat up on the bottom of the cubes.

Something this size will yield 20 to 30 decent cuts per monthish.. pic is a wonderberry mom i had last winter..

I clone under a t12 light, 6500k bulbs. Clones dont need a lot of light. They usually are 4 nodes or bigger and get cut once from the plant and again in ph water when i make my 45, scrape base, then clonex dip to a 1.5 rockwool cube.they get an extra push into the cube so theres good meduim contact. Then i just spray the dome once a day till rooted..

awesome..very helpful info as always fools thanks a ton...designing how im gonna build this corner cabinet up now...picked up one of these cfls for cheap...so basically whats the max height you think those mums you guys have are approx? like 3'ft? then probably need like another 6" or so from the cfl bulb? and width wise they are prob like 18-24" or so? you guys are the best:tiphat:

What an interesting cross....very cool to see it up.close like that. The bud structure is different than what I'm used to seeing at first looking like manners but then realizing that's the glue trait, funky bulging calyx, big fat elephant ear leaves like the glue, but on a long red petiole like the cookies cross she is.

Yea the.plant I.showed was about 2' tall.


CFL can be almost as close as you want. 8" is good What do you have so far?

The mothers i have range from 3 to 6 ft. When they hit 6 ft its time to make a new one lol. They can geow right up to the t12s with no signs of burn. So light distance is almost something that doesnt matter on the top of them ...

oh word actually got 2 regular winged hoods, one with magnum socket so was gonna pickup a bulb like this i figured...and just mount it on ceiling of cabinet...guy near me has one for $15..unless you think i should go dif direction

That's all I'm using right now myself. I have thought about hanging it vertical.....You think.you could? hanging like that works great anyways.

$15 is cheap, how many watts? My 250w is covering well over 8sqf no problem for vegging plants. I feel that I could use it to bloom if I did it tight, a even canopy scrog/sog type of thing, so yeah those work good.

Oh man that's a nice little setup you got there! Damn it looks so empty, but shit you got tons of height and 600w will penetrate pretty good. I've got a 400w and you can see where the light reaches its limits...But I beat that by training a canopy and maximizing space. Man, I can't wait to get a setup like that. Don't worry man, you'll be filling that spot up before you know it.

I almost want to suggest growing a few autos on their own somewhere while you get the veg machine started. Flower out some autos as nd square a way the veg tent. Two birds stoned aye? I know what you mean wanting to just smoke, don't ever chop early it's just never been worth it..

yeah i buddy of mine that was very slow when it came to carpenter like projects just did a small bubbler in closet and shower area and came outta insanely good in my opinion and just taught himself and that gave me all motivation in world to do minimum as good as him...cause in slowly putting this damn room together every night i read and take all kinds of notes
