Walmart's GE Energy Smart CFL Light Bulb: 26 Watt

Anyone using Walmart's GE Energy Smart CFL Light Bulb: 26 Watt CFL's? I was wondering what the kelvin was on these and why the bad reviews. One person said they came on orange. Another said they only last a year..

Each bulb is guaranteed to last 8,000 hours or 5 years based on average consumer use of 4 hours per day at 120V.

Hmm...Even at 12/12, this is 3 times the amount above reducing the hours to about 2700
Maybe the reviewer was going 24/0?

Not sure about the rest of your question, but what do you expect out of any lightbulb? They only have like 10,000 hour ratings, 24/7 for 1 year is 8760 hours of use. That's a pretty common thing to replace bulbs yearly.

Same quality of light as Soft White bulbs

I'm taking this to mean 2700k...

i use that 26w bulb and mine burns blue and i use it to start seeds and root/veg clones. works fine for me i luv my 42w as well
