I have a washer dryer hookup 30 feet from my room. I out source all my laundry and have no washer or dryer. I want to use thpse plugs from my room. Where is the best place to start reading or whatever so I can get it right. Can I plug into plugs run thru attic and then down to room? Or should I run a new panel off of it. I no nothing about electrical and in same sentence cant hire electritician because of my set up. All advice is appreciated in advance?? Thanks

Not an electrician, but had to do some rewiring when I did my setup. You can go to Home Depot or Lowes and grab one of those Basic Wiring Books. That should get you going.....but if you say you have washer dryer hookups, you could probably just thow a 100 amp box there and run a subpanel from your main breaker box. That would give you the room to add new circuits, etc.....

Good Luck and stay safe....:joint:

Depends on what hes running.Could be as simple as getting a heavy duty extention cord.If its an electric dryer .He could run an 240v cord that plugs into dryer plug with an outlet box on the other end with 240v or 120v.

You can use the washer hook up to install a r.o. system. They make adapters to fit the washer hook up.Then you can run the ro water 1/4" tubing to a float valve to top off your rez.Great way to use the washer hookup. As far as the dryer hook up.Most are 30 amp.You need to buy of these.

It has 4 240v recept.(20 ampes)It says you can hook up 4 1000 watt and 2 120v (10amps)
What is nice about it is when its comes on you can use one of the 120v for the inline fan you have hooked up. Hope it helps
