Early tallies show 60% of voters voted against the measure. This comes two weeks after the Riverside County board of supervisors voted to restrict medical marijuana cultivation to 12 plants per patient, with a maximum of 24 plants per property. The legality of their restrictive measures has already been tested in Maral v City of Live Oak.
A quick check on weedmaps.com shows there to be plenty of delivery services and a few brick & mortars operating in Riverside. Will the vote provide the impetus for the Sheriff's department to start busting people? Whatcha think?
