mine was light brown......
but before to come home,in ISLA MUJERES i found one like this !!! ........much better !!!

i know what you mean leaving a piece of heart there! such a quiet and beautiful place. the climate was also perfect for my norhern likings!
and yes this was local mota and hash. very nice local fella took us a bit higher in the mountains and got us the goods. he said 1 kilo of the same bud was needed to produce 50g of this hash, so very high quality it was!
i only visited mexico but would really much like to go to guatemala and south from there. many of the travellers we met spoke very highly of guatemala, got any pics from there? would love to see them!

Great pics amigos. I was working offshore Cuidad del Carmen two years ago and we were getting some outstanding hash that looked very similar to your photos. It came from Vera Cruz. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and reasonable price.
