Virgin BMR Bush gets Predator Mites (just in case)

You may have seen this revegged BMR before and its nearing 8 weeks in flowering now. I brought it in from outside so I placed some of the predator mites on it just in case it had or might get Spider Mites. I am sick of Spider Mites and this seems to be the answer. Growdoc provided the links that can be used to obtain your predator mites. They eat the spider mites and their larvae but they dont spin webs or eat plants so when they have no spider mites to eat they die. You get 3 kinds for 30 bucks but it is fast shipped in a cooled container so the shipping is expensive. BOG

This BlueMoonRock Bush is pretty nice for a bonus found in my yard this summer... :D

Those pics were 3-5 weeks flowering...

Now at 50 days...

Now at 52 days and note the remains of the predator mite treatment like sawdust on my buds...

Thats the only downside so I gotta get to work on that...

a couple more days... BOG

Very good preventative measure. Keep some of the bottle (in the fridge) and re-apply them in a week or so if ya can.

If you find a way around the sawdust let us know, it's annoying but much better than mites =)

Well bog I'd be very interested on how this turns out. I can keep them down but not elininate them. I got some chemical pesticide Acephate by name, but am afraid to use it. I'm gonna try it on a clone and see if it kills it.

I recently purchased some predators and they came in vermiculite, much easier to get rid of than the sawdust.......my problem was minimal, a few came in on some clones so i thought what the hell may as well bring in some back up to deal with em, so happy im considering trying something to sort out the thrips too.
Peace

Growdoc had a list of links for predator bugs he posted recently. I have one place in Oregon that ships them if you need it. BOG

Waiting to see the results as it can take 6 weeks to propagate a community of the lion bugs...
