Anyone prefer records over more traditional music systems?
I've got some 30ish year old magnenpan speakers I love rattling the house with. My favorites are Marley, Tosh, Zeppelin, Stones, Hendrix, etc.
Anyone else love the sound of an old record? What you rocking to?

Man, I've been telling myself for years that I'm gonna dig the old Phillips 212 outta the closet and dust it off!!!

I still have all my old vinyl starting with "Are you Experienced" that I bought in '68 when I was 14....Always had a good turntable, so the records are still in GREAT shape....

I still have the first press copies of zeppelin, airplane and the stones that I bought for about $3 bucks apiece when I was a teenager...

I bet those old Magnaplaners sound great!
I'm still using my old Altec Lansing Model 14's from the 80's....
I have EL-34 tubes driving them....

I lost 2 good stereo systems back in the 70s and 80's, fire and thief. What I have now just doesn't compare to my old pioneer and jbl speakers. remember first time I heard a cd player and wondered what the big deal was. Got 3 or 400 LPs

I lost a nice Dual turntable and sets of Bose 501s and some Pioneers. I loved that old gear and will replace sometime.

Oh, yeah, I prefer vinyl :tiphat:

anything older/more traditional than vinyl is gonna be wax cylinders & live bands. wax cylinders are unobtainable, & live bands are....er...um.... expensive? although, I'd LOVE for Pink Floyd to play at my birthday party this year...:woohoo: if it happens, ALL of you folks are invited!
