Hello dubi. Wanted to know if you have any more VB outcrosses in the works. I've got oriental express and really like it, even the chinese pheno is a nice happy smoke. Purple haze panama was awesome but I couldn't drive on that stuff LOL. I'm always hunting lines for that electric, euphoric buzz without paranoia. That outdoors active bud that enhances whatever you're doing. Great stuff for dealing with anxiety/depression without resorting to pills etc. In your catalog I know there's the VB, Green Panama, and a Highland Nepalese x Haze one off. Anyway let us know your thoughts chief. I bet you've got some wicked projects on deck :)

Hi Gerardbutler79,

I worked extensively with Vietnam Black from 2002 to 2009, but not so much lately to be honest. These latest years i've been busy with other strains: Malawi, Panama, Bangi Haze, Orient Express, Nepal Jam, Oldtimer's Haze, Haze/Thais, Zamaldelica, Kali China, etc ...

If you have already enjoyed Orient Express vietnamese phenos, and you want to experience other electric, happy, euphoric type of effects, then i would highly recommend you Congo and the clean, uplifting and refreshing Zamaldelica pheno. The kinder, not so trippy Tikal phenos are also worth to consider.

There are other interesting sativa projects on the way, but it is a bit too early to announce them. Thanks for your interest :)

viet black is like that evasive thing that drives the market. legends like acapulco gold, maybe you can find someone who will sell you something. but no one sells anything called VB, and i get the feeling that if someone did, it would end before it began.

in fact, people who ask about VB are getting pretty rare as well.. :)

I have great memory of Vietnam Black and the last I experienced it was in ‘89 ffs. I remembered it as very paranoia inducing but would also make you laugh about the fact you couldn’t answer the door or phone when first ripped on it.
There’s a Vietnam Black being offered by Blackbird Preservations presently and still available but from what I remember not cheap. SHN have them and the description sounded right.
