Video surveillance systems

Does anyone use outdoor and indoor video surveillance? What system do you use? Any other information on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I was wanting to use an IP surveillance system as to be able to monitor it out of town from a laptop.

There are many good pan/tilt/zoom wireless IP cameras on the internet.

They are easily installed and accessed from any web browser - anywhere. Most just need powered and they are up in running..you just need to go into your routers settings and open port to said camera's local IP.

Then checkout a website like ipchicken (dot) com to get your IP address. You should be able to punch that IP into a web address bar on another computer somewhere and access your cam's feed.
