Vibration of HPS Bulbs

I record music and grow in the same space. I just realized last night (while a friend was playing my vintage Gibson Les Paul) that the HPS bulbs will rattle when a Gb power chord is played.

So my question is, do you guys think that rattling will harm the bulbs? It's that little flat circular piece of metal that is rattling.

Some info that may help your answer, I do replace the bulbs after each grow.

Sound is vibration, so any amplified sound will have some impact on the bulb, seems at Gb you hit a resonant freq. This surely will shorten your bulb life to some degree.

Thanks for the reply to this abstract question!

Would you expect that to be an issue if I'm changing the bulbs every cycle?

Assuming you've been at this for more than a few cycles...
What's your experience thus far?

Does the rattling cause a spectrum change?

Other than physical damage to the element, I can't see the vibration doing much. Maybe causing the bulb to loosen in the socket.

I moved my music equipment into this warehouse with about 2 weeks left of the previous run's flowering cycle. I didn't notice any changes during that 2 week period, but I also wasn't looking for it.

I do not know if it causes a spectrum change.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I wanted to get another brain in on it so thank you for weighing in. I will continue to observe this and report my findings if anything abnormal is noticed.
