Veteran's Day

mean mr.mustard

I Pass Satellites
Veteran
The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Burn one for all those who have fallen and all those who came home.

Burn two for all those falling and all those coming home.

My gratitude and admiration goes out to all enlisted, past present and future.

All gave some, Some gave all.

All gave some, Some gave all.

I'm gonna puff a little now in the name of all veterans. Three of my uncles, both of my grandfathers, and my brother all serve or have served in the military. My brother's been to Iraq three times and is going to Afghanistan soon.

I'm toking one in the name of peace, hoping no more of our men have to die in service.

This is a little late, but I would like to ask everyone to remember those who gave their lives for what they believed, or didn't, was for the good of mankind. The US and it's allies have made the planet a more civilized and safer place to live.

When the world population rejects the despots of hate and division, we will all move forward. The ability to communicate to the masses continues to expand and grow our understanding of each other.

It doesn't matter who we are or where we live, we are all born of the same species. Joining forces and working together we can continue to discover and understand the secrets of life, elements and energy that comprise the universe. Together we can solve many of the problems and failings of mankind.

We all need to understand that accepting and following those intent on violence and destruction only serves to harm all of us. The misguided followers of religious, political and greedy psychopaths continue to harm us and our planet in too many ways. It has been said too many times, "Violence and war is not the answer". Yet, we must continue to use our precious human and material resources to counter the evil intent of our own species.

We should all remember and pray for those who have given their lives in the defense of freedom and fairness for all.

I would also, at this time, ask you all to remember a friend of mine who gave his country so much of his life and received so little in return. He was a true hero during the Vietnam war and everyone should know of his strength, bravery and love for his country and his fellow man. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and Joe Hooper was no exception.

Please do a google search on Joe Hooper and understand the man and the soldier he was and will always be.

May he rest in peace.
