VERY very fast dry and cure

Let's say I want to rip off a small bud of my tree and smoke it tonite.

What is the fastest way to do it without losing much of its power?
Microwave oven it?

What have you guys done when you want it real quick?
I know curing it takes time, and I also know it's not the right way to enjoy it.

anyway, what do you do?

flaten a bud with a book & then put the bud on the hot spot of the hood of your lamp = 2-3 hrs - still has some punch but has a green taste & high to it

I'm a pro at this-

get a glass plate ,get a paper towel and make sure it lays flat on the plate, if it's a big bud use 2 or 3 paper towels. It's very important that the paper towels aren't raised off the plate at all, so if you need to cut them to fit the plate perfectly, definitely do so. Pull the bud apart into as many small pieces as you can and spread it out as much as you can, don't let the pieces of bud contact each other. Put the plate in the microwave with the bud on 10% power for about 5 minutes- this should make it pretty dry. You may need to adjust your temps and times a little as ovens vary. Like say maybe 20% power at 3 mins. or 4 mins. The important thing is to not exceed 30% power- if you do the temps will get too high and it will vaporize your thc. Even if it takes cooking it for 10 mins. at 10% power, never go above 30%.

After you have dried it out at 10% for approx. 5 minutes or so- let it sit for about 15 mins. or longer- the remaining moisture in the bud will wick its way to the outside and you'll know for sure if it's smokeable- if it's too wet to burn, nuke it again. If it's way, way too dry it will be some of the harshest stuff you'll ever smoke.

The paper towels will wick all of the water out of the bud.

Make sure you use:

glass plate
napkins/paper towels- FLAT
LOW temps/ longer times NOT high temps/shorter times.

Depends how much time you're prepared top wait for the smoke...obviously the longer the better.

If you're prepared to wait overnigh then on top of your pc monitor will work very well and for a much shorter drying time just put some chopped up buds on top of your reflector (just above the bulb) as fredster420 said.
