I have been without a camera for about a year, but I got the chance to borrow my sisters Nikon D70 and snap some shots... enjoy.

when did you aquire yer kali mixt genes?

i cant wait to grow it, holds so many similiar traits to the kona such a pretty sativa to look at and its gonna be some stellar smoke thats for sure. im just waitin fer the right version, as, i hear it was 'reworked' around the turn of the century so the vintage is the one to look for? judging from yer pics i think kali mist, whether reworked or not, is worth a grow.

aside from neing a security risk,
imageshack is very unstable

Great pics! I'm growing out some Cherry Thunderfucks that have Maple Leaf Indica in them and have been looking around for info and pics, but there really isn't much, I'm finding. Can you tell me little about yours? Are they from seed or have you been working with it for a while? Etc. Thanks.

i got the hog too , which pheno do you got? mine looks much more kush
the guys who gave me the clone mentioned it would be the piglet pheno, what ever that means , hahahah i dont know , the only thing he told me is to let her go 58 days for fat nuggets and 70 days for 50/50 trichs which will give a deadly couchlock ... mhm we will see as its my first with her just cloned the clone once and its still rooting ... how long did they root for you ?

THANKS! so much captain. I hate to admit it, but I am a photo newb. This was my first time with the camera ever and I resized with mspaint (to be fair I did take quite a few regular photography classes). I once had one of those snazzy signature inserting programs but, it expired and I just kind of stopped caring. I know what I did and I feel like that is what really matters (altruistic albeit a sophomoric attitude)
I really appreciate the nomination, I hope I can get some fully mature shots of that hog; I liked how the low lighting with flash turned out. Even being nominated is quite an honor especially with all of the stiff competition around here.
I used imageshack because ICmag kept resizing them and it has always worked without error for me. Also, I am not sure what level of security you are referring to but, trust me, I “E-know” the guy who runs that place and he wont play ball with the feds, he has an awful lot to hide and people to protect (very high security)…
I meant to type something clarifying the KALI genes. They did come from a bag of a friend of a friends grow. Therefore, it is possible they were crossed with something by accident in his garden. I got the bag sometime around 02-03. Sadly, much beyond that, I do not know.
I grew one bean out my first grow and I still have people bringing it up; even after all of these years and "better grown" crops later, Pure Kali or not, it has some great genes. I believe this is a selfed seed (“worst” case, a kali X haze/skunk(from TFD)); I have been eyeing it for hermi’s and have yet to find any. I think it only produces them when stressed like a first time grower can :lol: Fortunately this time I had the foresight to save mothers this time, it was damn near auto flowering, it wanted to go even under 24hr light.

Canine, Maple Leaf Indica is the marijuana breeding world’s best kept secrete, I can swear to you it is the backbone to more than we even realize (growers and breeders alike). As you probably know, it is a pre soviet afghani and it is claimed to be landrace. Honestly, I think it may be a bit too perfect for a land race strain, but I have no proof of that. Nothing I have can match the unique taste (almost meaty, more of a meal than a desert) and crazy resin production. I know it might not seem like it, but the MLI has substantially more resin the HOG. This is my absolute keeper, I can’t part with her. The stone is not immediate, but it defiantly qualifies as “one hit shit.” I can take one walk away and forget to smoke more for hours. It is a bit too heavy for a day time smoke. It seems to help anxiety, but hurt depression and motivation. I really love this girl in the right set and setting (after a long days work)

fjällhöga, I wish I could give you more advice on the hog. It has been the most resilient strain in my garden and produces quite a few massive nugs per plant. Two clones were given to me and I grew them out last run; however, I had a terrible case of thrips and mites and lost one of the two. Very dense stuff, keep an eye on humidity. It finished probably somewhere around 60-65. I often loose track, this time I wrote the start flowering date down. I like to let my judgment determine when they are done (using bud shape, growth pattern and trichome opacity as indicators) unfortunately, I don’t have a whole lot to say about it’s flavor or taste. One of the two pheno’s was suppose to be hogsbreath, but I think that was the one I lost, I was nonplused by the flavor and potency. It was potent, it was just nothing special. The other phenol was a bit less of a producer but it has this really interesting sweet flavor that I guess could best be described as fresh (not in a green hay way, like walking into a flower garden greenhouse), the smell transfers nicely into flavor. Again, I really just don’t have anything wonderful to say about the high, it’s potent just not really unique IMO. Honestly, I feel I will be able to give a better analysis after this grow since it is clearly going pretty well.
