being able to test cbd in veg is very interesting, and could really come in handy. id like to see some side by side results from veg vs flower.

I was gifted a cut of cannatonic by a kind individual. It tested at 15.6%cbd and 5%thc. I got a copy of the report with the cut as well. Ill probably flower her for the first time fairly soon

lots of CBD attention in colorado right now, high cbd edibles made from concentrates of high CBD strains.
one of my favs is Sour Tsunami #2, its an inhouse strain of one of the dispensaries in Denver, very very chocolate/coffee/earth tasting and smelling. not suuuper potent buzz but its not known for thc levels...
so this Dispensary is making lots of extracts from these high cbd plants, for activatedoral use, or dabbing or mixing into edibles.

Juanita La Grimosa is from Reggae Seeds, this is the mother of the CBD rich Cannatonic that Resin Seeds used, I have never heard of "Original Sensible Seed's" and seriously doubt they are legit.

Reggae seeds strains are excellent, similar to Mosca's work, everything smells heavenly, Kalijah will remain long in my memory.

I just smoked some as a matter of fact I have some on me now lol called K2 damn is it sleepy I got it from Green Cross abit too sleepy for me.
There are ppl that grow it and don't have the machine and still bringin high CBD numbers..If your looking for sleep you can also let your trichomes go more amber this should bring on a sleepier effect. headband 707

i still believe you can influence it by when you harvest. you want to look for that " Rainbow Color when shes greesy and ready to be picked. i wait, untill in sunlight she gives me that rainbow look, shes ready. Now if i let her go another week or two, head turn more Redish, and or fall off, which is the process of degrading creates more CBD's . I would have to see it in a lab i guess, with controlled studies.

All Marijuana has it. Just some more than others. And as far as the medical value, there is not enough just by smoking it, to help Kill Cancer. You have to use Extract, like Butter, or Oil, to get enough CBD's and what ever other compounds that are helping us medically. But ALL marijuana has CBD, rather if its half a percent or more. i honestly believe this is going tobe one of those marketing Gimmicks.
as NO one has a way to D.I.Y. percentages at home.

Depends if the variety has the Bt/allele, but when i grow an old Jamaican variety i don't think it will produce enough CBD.

Yeah way back when ppl used to breed this shit out of the cannabis lol.. Thinking WTF it's not needed or wanted .. Not knowing enough about it I guess. Now it's a different story. CBD is genetic. Harvest time is not going to magically make cbd appear.

According to Etienne De Meijer, the biochemist that works for Hortipharm, The content of cannabidiol and the ratio of CBD/THC in cannabis are completely controlled by genetics. De Meijer has discussed this in the “Inheritance of the Cannabinoid Phenotype”.

Thanks for sharing. I read about that in soft secrets and then I picked up Kalijah, Dancehall, and Respect from reggae while back. Hoping for a keeper high cbd pheno.

well when i flower mine, i will look under the scope and see what we can see. I can believe that.


And the point was, yes it is Genetic, but you can kinda control the amount, by even creating a higher Count. And you will find Indica's have a Higher Content of this Disposition.
