Vermont On Course for Dispensaries

C

CANNATOPIA

On Thursday, May 5, the Vermont House of Representatives voted 99-44 to approve an amended bill that would allow four well-regulated non-profit medical marijuana dispensaries throughout the state.
I am pleased to announce that the Senate has approved the amendments, and the bill is now on its way to the governor to be signed into law!
It is expected that Gov. Peter Shumlin will approve the bill. He has stated his support for marijuana reform publicly in the past and has been a consistent ally.
Hopefully, with Gov. Shumlin’s help, medical marijuana patients in Vermont will soon be able to access the highest quality medicine safely and affordably.

Four well-regulated non-profits.

I am not sure they will be accessing the highest quality affordably. Just what I've seen when regulations get thought up.
But safe access is nice.

Medical patients sure get screwed on the east coast.... CA and CO ruined it for everyone else. 4 dispensarys in whole state? Sounds like maines 8....I bet you will also not be able to use the dispensary if you grow your own or use a caregiver.

Hey a step forward is still progress also need to consider the needs of each state Vermont has all of like 250 patients scattered across the state 4 is a good start better than nothing considering Vermont was I believe one of the first 3-4 med states and is just now getting the dispensaries...
