Love your journals. Great detail and laid out for simplicity.
Thanks!

(* I'm looking forward to the final LED results. I would like to become more efficient. Electricity is too expensive)

green sky - welcome! and im looking forward to the results too.i guess its a pretty tall order expecting a 184w LED to match up to a 300 (actual) watt hps.. but we will see.
mellow yellow - yep it should get interesting :dance013:
opus- thanks for stopping by!

gnaut - i guess i veg for around 2-4 weeks but i tend to not do it by time but more by the look/size of the plant. if you chek through some of my older diaries i generally have pics of the day they are flipped. i dont worry too much about vegging them in the final pot - always had great results repotting and flipping on the same day.

----

right, sorry for the slight delay - i have some pics for you. we are at about 4 and a half weeks. things seem to be moving on quite nicely.
first up is the chem D

and the mmg - slight browning of some pistils here but as iirc it does this

and the cab with LED shining - as you can see the footprint fills out the cab pretty well at about 15" - thats about as much height as i can spare!

i other news, FINALLY, i have some pollen from the bubba cut and the shark1 cut that i was treating with colloidal silver :dance013::dance013::dance013:- you may have been following this in my 104w diary. hopefully the pollen is viable. i dusted a bud on both the chemd and he shark1 to make a couple of fem crosses -
sharksbreath x bubba kush - this could be a real winner.
chem d x bubba kush

tomorrow i'll dust some with the shark1 pollen.

cheers

Thats a beautiful garden Verdant. I love how level your tops are. You've done a great job. Ive been trying to achieve that effect with topping and lst'ing. Ive yet to produce a canopy as nice as yours though, but I think Im getting closer.

I actually have a scrog screen set up, but I haven't used it yet. Im waiting on a proven lady to fill the 3x3 screen.

GP73 - thanks dude!

g0v - cheers :tiphat:

mitch - thanks for stopping by :)

dave - imo scrog i actually much easier than lst ;) i tend to top my plants as well during veg. a 3x3 screen is pretty big! when you find a plant that you want to scrog, for a screen that size i would veg it and top it a few times before putting it under the screen so as it already has at least 4 or 6 long branches - when you put it under the screen you can spread these out under the wire so that there is a nice spread of branches straight away - this means that the screen ends up more even because as soon as you train the branches flat under the screen they will throw sidebranches and you dont want the middle getting too congested before the ends of the longer branches reach the outside of the screen - hope that makes sense! feel free to hit me up if you need any advice on that. once you have clones a plant you will find that the clone will usually branch easier than the seed plant.

dusted a bud on the shark1, the MMG and the chem d with shark1 pollen - more talk about that in my other 104w diary ;)

Thanks for the advice VG. I have a Shit female I was considering.Very vigorous, and has incredible lateral branching. The only issue is she is a bit too compact underneath my MH. The nodes are stacked on top of each other, so she's probably not the best candidate. I do have a MangoHaze lady that's gotten quite large, and has multiple large branches. Ill post a pic. This is a reveg plant thats been topped and tied down alot. She's at the point where I need to tie her down again, but that's harder to do when the branches extend so far out away from the bag. My velcro wont reach lol. I suppose thats a good thing.

And, I have been needing a large plant to stick under the scrog screen...Your thoughts? She's growing in a rectangular shape atm. Ive yet to be able to get the exact desired shape when I tie them down. I imagine soon, I will believe you when you say using a screen is easier than lst'ing. :)

hey dave that looks like an ideal candidate for a scrog!

i wouldnt skimp on the pot size either. i use as big as i cab fit in my cab. of course the repot will encourage more stretch too...

Hey VG,

I don't believe in ghosts or any other fantasy creature, but once I read in a magazine something about the white spots or light spots in the pics, and maybe yes or maybe not but there's somthing one of your recent pics, right in the red circle I draw. I'm just curious.
