hey MB - well, thai is supposed to be sativa, but there isnt much in the way of pure thai left anymore after some american anti drug policies - long story. the mother of the lemon thai f3 was an 'indica' pheno that supposedly had amazing structure - which seems to be carried through to the offspring, and amazing resin production which hopefully will also be carried through ;)

NHMI - it was just one plant and it was probably vegged for 3 or 4 weeks. i think probably 2 less stretchy plants might give better yields

Marijuanasaur - thanks - there are so many factors that go towards bud quality, but yes from my experience so far, these LED's will not let you down if you get the rest right. my style of growing is very simple really - just soil in a pot - less to go wrong that way if you use a good mix.

b00m, cheesebuds - thanks guys :)

well the lemoon thai are stretching after the flip and not far from showing sex - ill get some pics tomorow and the 205w grow diary will be started next week, hopefully with one of these lemon thai in there! - if i get an extra girl i may flower it in this cab :)

well, it looks like all of the Lemon Thai F3 are going to be female - which is a shame because because i had big plans for any males and i wanted to make some f4 seeds too. i guess i will have to pop some more seeds (i have another 5) at some point to do that.
also i now have far too many plants ready to flower so 1 of them at least will be flowered in here. i would like to squeeze 2 of them in but in all honesty that may be asking for trouble as i have no idea of the stretch (and they have already stretched a fair bit) and they are vegged up quite big because i intended them for the 205 cab. ill have to make a decision in the next couple of days...

anyway i shouldnt complain - at least i may get a better keeper mum out of them and 4 females is way better than 4 males :D

here are a couple of pics - as you can see they have grown/stretched quite a bit. they were flipped on monday.

It's so ironic that when you're starting out you're always hoping for just females and get males, later on you'll hope to have males to make crossess and end up with females :D

That strain is very interesting one, sadly it's not that available..well it is but not here..

Your plants always look so verdantly green. I am getting my own 63 watter going and will join in the bliss. The seedlings are just under 56 watts of cfl for now...

You have not found a big difference in high from hid so far? These LED's are are pretty nifty for micro even if they do not beat the crap out of hid in yield and better high from smoke. Cost is the only downside and that is less with each grow.

unthing - yeah we call it sod's law here in the UK. actually i should regard it as an opportunity really. i have some Deep Chunk pollen in the freezer so thats one cross i can make with the female Lemon Thai that i was planning to do anyway. tbh i dont think the seeds are available any more - they were very limited and went pretty quickly.

yesum - thanks, these plants have bounced back quickly after being repotted - they were starting to yellow a bit and it was because they were getting rootbound - always the fist thing to check imo.
i think the high from the LED grown MMG is at least as good as HPS (i did grow it under hps previously) i'm pretty sure the smell is better too.

im thinking that i will attempt to flower 2 of the lemon thais in this cab. it will be very tight but i can always trim some branches off. its always a lottery with stretch on strains that havent been run before so i'll just take the gamble - otherwise i will have nowhere to flower one of them.

Wow those lemon thai's done grown up verdant, still can't wait to see these finished. Nice to hear that the buds under led are so odorific and potent.

yes! - my veg cab is 104watts of CFL and i can tell you that this 63w LED is much much better.

so with the fact that i got 4 females i am going to attempt to flower 2 of them in this cab at the same time - probably highly inadvisable because they are already quite a size - i will probably have to trim off some branches (already removed the lower 2) but i would like to flower them all out so i can find a keeper - so 2 are in the big cab under the 205w LED (just posted up that thread - link in my sig) and 2 are in here.

here are lemon thai 2 and 3 - i tried to pick the two that looked the most alike for this cab, no idea how much they will stretch..... theyv'e been on 12/12 for about 9 days and showed sex 3-4 days ago.

hey unthing - i hope it's interesting too and not a nightmare ;) - im hoping the root restriction of the 2 plants in that rectangular pot will reduce the size of them a bit.

intel2000 - welcome! - thanks for stopping by

Do not feel bad. I have 5 plants and just a 63 watt LED unit with a few cfl's as of now.

hi all, everything is still looking good - ive made some real effort to get the temperatures up as they've been running at around 60-70 which wont be doing the growth rate any favors - i guess it may limit the yield a bit or it may take longer to ripen. we've had the coldest spell for some 30 years here in the UK.

grow1620 - i should have those measurements for you tomorrow

apollonio - thanks, im super excited

LEDGirl - yes, thanks for choosing me - i was shocked and touched by the amount of support i recieved :D

Sleepy - thanks mate :)

Relentless - yeah - come the summer thse lights are going to be a godsend as it gets vedry hot in my loft!

scumbragger - from this grow, given the low temps and first run in a new cab, i would be more than happy with anywhere near 1g/watt - but im going to avoid speculating on it if i can ;). from my 250 i pull around 10 ounces - well over 1g/watt on average.

high4free - thanks - hopefully i can put on a good show :)

hey VG,

sorry for quoting all your threads but I've only just realised your a UK grower. Gonna have to give your soil mix a bash, sounds cheap!!! I know what yuor saying aboutthe temps in Jan, they were so low all my Powerplant went dark purple and frosted over like they were dipped in sugar. Just wondered if you noticed the weather doing the same for your garden??
