hackencoff - i think the first LED lights made for growing were pretty poor. These are quite advanced and use the latest and best tech. im no expert on led's in general but these ones look like they are working to me.
mad - how big is the footprint you need and what wattage are you using atm?
ok, whatever the final yield turns out to be, i am officially impressed with this light. to get quality buds from such a tiny wattage is amazing - and to think that the second generation version of this light will be even better....
anyway, got some pics - today is 53 days. i imagine around 3 weeks left.
Hey Vedantgreen! Very nice buds there. I have been following your thread every week. Wishing my buds turn out as good.
Congrats on the 205w. Looking forward to what you do with it. I am thinking of getting one myself in about a month or so.
Very impressive bud development under the single 63w 1st gen light. Looking forward to seeing the 205w 2nd gen in action. Congrats on winning the 205w, BTW.
MeanBean - cool - looking forward to your thread and im intrigued by your 'new technique'
#1cheesebuds - thanks, yeah looking good
apollonio - ok ill try and do that. they are quite little colas really but welll formed and plenty of them! - i can never think of a suitable international object for size comparison though
x.man - yes i think for a micro-grow one of these units would serve well, or a 126 watt unit if you can fit it in!
mrred - yes i did run this MMG under my 250hps - i didnt get many pics but of course the buds were bigger under a light of 4 times the wattage!. im going to save the comparisons for when i get the 205 unit as i think that would be much fairer. check my galleries if you want though
Blimey! - yes i am interested in the g/watt too although it's very hard to know what it will be. from my research it is harder to get 1 g/watt under smaller lights - i dont think anybody has done it under a 70watt HPS, you can just about do it under a 150.
as for test subjects i will probably run 4 quarters with 2 or 3 of my cuts and maybe have one quarter with sonething new from seed. i wont be running a side by side as such - rather comparing the scrogs with previous runs that i have done with the same cuts under the 250.
j6p - yes its pretty impressive for such low wattage, and thanks
Thanks V! I am pretty confident that I will be using this "new technique" for every grow after this journal! Glad you’re interested, it is a real concept, kind of dummy proof too!!
It's not going to work for everyone’s scenario, but I bet you absolutely will love it hahaha!!
I am cutting clones within the next few days, so in 2-3 weeks I will begin vegging under the 126, then after that when I move them to my flower chamber, that's when I can unveil my masterpiece lol!!!!
So like mid march??? Should be a very interesting month on IcMag thanks to Hydro Grow LED!!
yes comparison shots would be nice documenting.
they look big and healthy. LEDs sound right to me. the progress mayb has tweaking[mixing spectrums?]. but for the energy used and the bud produced, look like nice screen work.
Yah, VG from now on can you just throw a 12" ruler next to all your flower shots. Ill sponsor the ruler to so you can write on it, "this ruler is brought to you by One Quality"
