Venting thru a bathroom / dryer vent

Anyone vent thru a bathroom or cloths dryer vent in a multi unit building? Does anyone know how these vents are usually constructed? In a house its pretty straight forward - bathroom vent through the roof and dryer vent out a side wall. I'm guessing in a multi unit building like a condo building there is a main venting stack. Anyone have any thoughts on his?

do you see any 4" vents on the outside walls? They can be constructed either way - collected into a common duct or separately vented out through the wall or roof.

It's probably a really bad idea to vent into a common duct if that is the case. (messing up the duct's ventilation)

You don't want to find out that you need to replace your carbon filter via a neighbor. :)

worse comes to worse just get a good filter and just use the air in ur apartment..

or.. construct a window box.. grab some blinds.. a small light and create a box with multiple 4-6 inch holes cut out for ducting.. if u do it right. make the bottom for intake.. top for exhaust.. and make sure u separate the 2 so ur not just recycling air..

if ur window is visable to people.. when making this.. put a little light in there with blinds.. and have it on a timer.. to turn that light on here and there.. so it looks like someones home.. and honestly. this will keep most thieves from thinking no1 is home..
