Venting question

Right now my current setup is a 10'x10' well insulated flowering room. Adjacent to it is a 4'x4' Veg tent. Right now I have the flower room and the veg tent exhausting out separate windows. I am trying to consolidate down to one exhaust window, due to a nosy 80 year old neighbor (he now thinks the one exhaust is my dryer exhaust). I don't think I can pull off multiple dryer vent stories.

I have here a very crude MSPaint drawing of what I have going on, and what I would like to do to tie the two rooms vent systems together.

Legend:
Red = 6" Raptor hoods
Yellow = Insulated Duct
Green = Carbon Filter
Blue = 1100 CFM 8" Fan
Brown = Future Insulated Duct

I have a ton of negative pressure in the flowering room, just wondering if you think it is enough to pull the heat off from my 400 MH in the 4'x4'.

Is it possible to vent into your attic? You can get away with it if you are in a climate zone that has a winter.

I vent into the central heat/air of my house in the winter. This way I save on heating my house.

It would be rather difficult to get it all the way up there. The grow is in the basement. I thought about going up the chimney, but have heard some horror stories about it, given that both my furnace and hot water heater vent up there, not sure that I want to take that chance.

what 8" fan pulls 1100cfm? also, are those 600 or 1k's in flower room? You should also use 1 or two phresh or phat duct mufflers to minimize noise.

I hope you have insulated your attic pretty well if not you might get problems during the winter time when it starts to snow. The snow will melt on your roof while it doesn't on other houses. A lot of people git busted this way.

All of this could have be prevented if they isolated their roofs properly.

In the winter, I tie mine into my central heating unit. It saves me on my heating energy consumption. I disconnect and plug it off during the summer months.

Heat=Energy. Use it to your advantage when you can

I think we got a little off the initial topic. The main concern was if I could vent my veg room into my flowering room. That way there was only one exhaust going to the outdoors.

The problem is to keep right temp in veg when the incoming air is the exaust of the flower room...you'd better do the opposite...veg--->flower--->out....

I think I may has not explained it right. What you said is exactly what I am trying to do. Exhaust my Veg room into my Flower room then from the Flower room, outside.

No we're not, in fact this is a security measure which is being forgotten by many growers. If your attic is isolated properly the snow on your roof wont melt and its easier to get a stable climate in your growroom.
