Hello,
Hope this is what you was looking for. Its a 1k hps in a super sun reflector running on a 4' long track set with the 2minute delay at each end.

Maybe this will help with some ideas. It's all 4" duct work. The solid duct was used where possible to allow smoother airflow. A nice 4" 90' elbow flows much smoother than a piece of flex duct all twisted up like the connection at the light. The flex was only used at the light connection, as it has ridges and creates drag on the air. The flex duct is all metal inside, no plastic liner. I would check for this at purchase, the light is HOT, it felt hot enough to me to melt the plastic lined duct.(speculation not fact) The fan is a 240v blower, I think about 165cfm or 225cfm, can't really remember for sure but the light housing is always whatever the temp is outside. The small reflector is easy to cool. The ballast is mounted inside the wall so I ain't cooling all that heat too.
This was my answer to externally cooling a light on a mover, it may not be the right way but its all I could figure out. I'd like to see pics of some other ideas.
Good luck with your project cracker.
Peace

Yes! The pict help a great deal! at this point. Good to see that Ya don't need a special type of flex ducting. This whole thing is still in the design phase. I will share some picts as soon as I have something to show . Thanks!
