venting into wall...???

So what dou guys think of venting the exhaust into the walls? is this an effecient way to exhaust heat without blowing it back into the same room that the tent is sitting in? I plan to filter the exhaust with a carbon filter atached to either a vortex or elicent or s&p fan. I plan to try to put a 400 watt hps cooltube in a homebox S maybe an xs in my new place. I would have to repair the walls because i am renting but i think im willing to do that if it would work. any thoughts or suggestions on this?

Wall's are basically sealed, except for a few small holes for wiring and out side wall's also
have insulation in them( or should). On an inside wall (if you can) you could put a fake
HVAC register cover on the other side of that wall and let the hot air pass into another room.

I N Hall, what exactly is a hvac register cover? i may be able to do that, or vent into the wall, and blow hot air into a closet in the room. thanks for the respnse, anyone with any other ideas?

A Heating and Air conditioning vent cover,

And you might run into the same prob with the closet,(if in same room)the fan will build pressure in the closet and stop circulating your air.

Two questions

Are you adding Co2 ? (If not you will need a way to get fresh air in the room)

Are you using a air conditioner ?(If not your room will get hot without an intake and a
outtake for circulating air through the room)

I was venting into the wall....but I removed it to avoid mold. it's not 100% probable that mold will form, but I didn't want to take the risk.

However, if you have a wall that has an exhaust fan for bathrooms (many windowless bathrooms have this) you can exhaust into that wall, since it was designed to move very humid air.

From my understanding it's safer to vent into the wall if you live in climates where you don't get extreme temps and homes don't have insulation.

Puts an unnecessary strain on the fan. There's no way out. Air and smell flow out your intakes. Moisture trapped in the walls leads to mold. It's a bad news, bad news scenario.

Before I installed the "return air grills," I cut a piece of A/C foam filter to fit. But, I had to notch them or the screw would twist the filter around itself.
Darkroom louvers on the inside.

Hope this helps to clarify things a bit.

Namaste, mess
