venting heat and oder

ok ive covered carbon scrubbers working or not , but what my delema is i want to air cool my light and use a carbon scrubber. do i vent from the grow box into a scrubber while venting the heat from the light into the room ? how do i go abought doing this ? im looking to build a scrubber like the long cylidrical ones .

id say, if ur finances allow it, use a seperate fan to vent the light

ok .. but what abought smell .. if i have two fans .. room air going to a scrubber and light heat going to the room would i get smell... or could i put a t in it to have both go into the scrubber?

using two fans sounds right away like the best idea, except as you said, then youd need 2 scrubbers. id use the one fan and the scrubber or go with two fans, 2 scrubbers. theres other ways to control odor to, like ozone and stuff like that, works great, not the healthiest thing though. good luck=)

you can use a fan for the light by having an intake from outside of the growspace to the light to outside of the growspace, all connected with ducting, this way it is a closed system and you avoid any smell contamination

then just use the carbon scrubber and another fan to pull air out of the growspace and passive intakes get plants fresh air

I run a duct from my light to my fan, then another duct from the fan to the scrubber.

get a bigger scrubber, have a splitter in the duct so both can be routed through it, but it must be a bigger scrubber, but, like was said, ozoze kickc the shit out of carbon for removing smells, but its more expensive to buy a generator.
