I need to connect my filter through the wall and just cant decide the best way to do it. I have looked through the forum but cant find any images to copy from.
I have a 6" filter waiting for me to decide what to use. Should I put my fan right on top of the filter or put it further down the line. Should I put it before or after the 90% turn?

I reckon the difference would be almost negligible, I have seen setups with both on this and other forums.

If you have no restrictions I would suggest placing the fan close to the filter so to maximise pulling the air through your filter and then let the fan push on the warm extracted air around the ducting.

I am planning a new setup next week and have similar to consider as I want to maximise the height I have within the tent. However I won't have a 90 degree turns to deal with, so having my fan outside the tent shouldn't affect the rate the air exhausts..

Btw, I have only three grows under my belt, so there should more knowledgable ppl here to advise...

on my filter i have my fan attached to it,my light are the opposite fan at the end of my run
