Ventilation setup for DIY grow cabinet

I am planning to build a 2x4 grow cabinet split into two 2x2 rooms for a perpetual grow, height 6.5 feet. I will run quantum boards, qb96v2 in the flower room, qb65 in the veg room, and some t5s in the clone room.

My question is, how do i go about ventilation? I want a carbon filter in the flower room for sure, but i am a beginner to growing and i dont know how to go about ventilation even though i did my research, but it confused me a little since i am building a 2 in 1 cabinet not just one room for a complete grow.

Where should i set holes in the cabinet for proper ventilation and environment in both veg and flower rooms and what else do i need to take into consideration relating ventilation.

Well the problem is how to keep the dark side dark with one fan. Since you are using LED's I would suck air in at the top of the clone chamber and have it blow out the bottom of the flower chamber.

You could buy a darkroom filter maybe 8 x 8 and install it at the top of the veg chamber/center panel.

The shelf between the clone and veg chamber should let air flow like an oven rack.

Put another oven rack type shelf at the bottom of the flower chamber and have a fan and filter down there. Exhaust out the rear.

Here is an idea how to keep the light from passing through your single fan, have a 90 degree elbow pointing down on either side of the fan. Painting the inside of the elbow black will help too.

You want to intake air at the bottom and expel it up top.

Good luck! Sounds tight! Ive blown through carbon filters, you have to filter the air before going to the filter to avoid clogging the carbon since you wont have the pre-filter to do that for you.
