GREETINGS, SO I'M CONSTRUCTING MY GROW CAB IN THE BASEMENT THAT HAS A VERY LOW CEILING. I PLAN ON A SPACE APPROX. 4 X 6 WITH ONE 4 FT END BEING INTEGRATED INTO THE EXISTING WORK BENCH. FLOOR IS 2 X 4 FRAME WITH INSULATION AND TOPPED WITH 3/4 INCH PLYWOOD. MY PLAN IS TO PUT THE SIDE AND TOP FRAME UP INTO THE RAFTER SPACE AND ATTACHING IT TO THE SUPPORT RAFTERS, LEAVING ABOUT A 5-6 INCH SPACE BETWEEN THE TOP OF THE CAB AND THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOORING. THE WALLS WILL BE CUT ACCORDINGLY AND WHAT WILL BE THE '"INITIAL" RESULT WILL BE A 4 X 6 X 6 FT BOX OPEN ON TOP. I THOUGHT A SLIDING OR REMOVABLE PANEL FOR ROOFING, HEAT CONTROL AND VENTILATION MAY BE PERFECT. I ONLY GROW FOR PERSONAL USE AND THIS IS MY FIRST CAB GROW WITH 3 PREVIOUS GROWS IN THE SAME PLACE BUT WITHOUT THE CAB, BUT WINTER TEMPS WILL BRING MY TEMPS DOWN TO APPROX. 50-52 F, SO IT'S TIME FOR TH CAB. I NEVER GET A LOT OF ODOR BECAUSE IT'S DRAFTY SO I'M WONDERING YOUR THOUGHT ON THIS PLAN THANKS!!
