Ventilation in stealth cab under bench, close to wall?

I would really appreciate your input on how to set up ventilation in a stealth box/cab in under a workbench in the basement.
The workbench has the measurements that's provided with my real artsy sketch, measurements are between legs.
The sides and front of the workbench will be covered and the grow box/cab just behind the sides.

Since the workbench will be anchored to the brickwall and wanting to maximize growspace, how much space would i need between box and wall where the exhaust will be placed?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I think it would depend on the size fan you are using. The back of my veg tent is basically pressed up against the wall, with a 4" inline fan poking out the back, resting at an upwards angle against the wall.

I'm removing the benchlegs against the wall and let it rest on a wallmounted beam, making it a 4" air-corridor behind the box for passive intake in one end and exhaust in the other.

Would still need some advice on what size fan & filter to aim for though?

With measurements shown in the picture, cab used for perpetual hd sog, 12/12 from seed and lighting consisting of 6 x 55w PL-L.
I'm thinking 125mm EC-fan, 310 m3/h dimmed down to about 200 m3/h(?), carbon filter at 310+ m3/h.

My cabinet is half the size of yours.

I use a 4" Vortex VTX400, and a 4 in x 12 in 200 CFM filter.

Works for me.

I wish I had the space for a bigger cabinet like yours.

Okey, and you also do fluoros?
Since there ain't that much heat generated one should really just need to pull enough air through scrubber to eliminate smell and keep a steady flow of air.

PL L, 165W in flower, 72W in veg.

The Vortex I use is controlled with a 3 amp Variac to 60%.

If your room has climate control, then you check
humidity and temp curves to honor the proper VPD.

My grow area has no climate control, so I struggle with that, lol

What's the environment in your grow area, have you tracked
temp and humidity a few weeks to forecast potential issues, I wonder.

Tricky situation, I know.

Good thread, subbed

How would a somewhat oversized carbon filter affect airflow?

Will be running a 317 cfm 6" EC duct fan, dimmed to about 40% so pulling 130 cfm through a 300 cfm carbon filter, yay or nay?

Thanks for replying btw and the cab is placed in a cool passively vented basement keeping 55-60 degrees F during wintertime.
