ventilation ideas...?

alright myself n a buddy of mine have started a new grow w/some decent genetics is an upstairs bedroom closet..this closet is very long and the grow is goin down in the very back and it gets hot as hell in there! When we can we're gonna buy an A/C unit but until then any ideas to vent out the heat? There is an entrance to the attic at the very front of the closet so is there anyway we could vent it out thru there? We already have like 5 fans goin but its still hot in there..

If you can't pump in cold air then you need to pump out the hot. Remove the access panel to the attic and store safely for future replacement. Manufacture another that you cut a hole in. Mount a fan on the attic side set to pull. This will remove hot air while pulling in cool room air.

freezerboy..what kinda fan can I get to do that? I know that panel would be useful i juz didn't figure out a way! About how big of a hole should be cut? Melon..the wattage right now is somewhere around 240 watts but another fixture is about to be put in and it generates a lot of heat..Another 240 is about to be added..I couldn't even tell ya the how big the space exactly is..

I don't know how big the panel is. If large enough, you could stick a boxfan up there laid down against the opening or the frame of a new panel. Many here speak well of the Stanley Blower though that would take some modification. Given an eventual 500 watts, the best, but most expensive, solution is an inline fan such as a Vortex or Elicent. While I rail against their noise that's only when they are in the room. If you can move it outside the room, like your attic, that problem disappears.

Select the fan of choice (4", 6", 8" etc) that's how big you make your hole. I'd hang it from the rafters and connect to the panel hole with duct and flange. Don't make it too hard to get to. Once a year you'll want to inspect and clean.
