Ventilation and A/C questions for all you Tent Growers

Hey all. I've been struggling with this one for a few months now and for some reason I still cant figure out whats the easiest way to cool a tent without any of the smelly air leaking through the A/C if that A/C unit was infact housed in the Same room as the tent.

Now I have been talking to a few others here about this and so far the best and most logical answer that I have heard would be to punch a couple holes in the wall (one up high and one down low) for intake and exhaust and Create a Lung room on the opposite side of the wall where the holes would be punched through. Now this could be done, but before I go and do something like this, I was wondering what are some other options I have here???.

So, I would like to hear from all you Tent Growers out there and hear what some of you've been doing these days as the summer Temps are steadily rising!

Any and all help is appreciated!
Peace, Indi

Put a sofa plastic bag around your ac and duct to your inlet. Outlet to the ac unit and seal bag. set ac at 24 degrees an use a air cooled hood. works

if you cool the room the tent is in down to 68 and vent the tent and lights outside the room you should be fine. you can getaway with passive air intake. I have done this with a 10x10 tent in southern California.

Yup globel is right, Just cool down the room the tent is in, and exhaust the tent thoroughly and you will be just fine... I mean its basically the same as the winter then, except your using AC to make the room cool..

Cooling in the summer is always tough. If you cool down the room with ac'd air as other suggested the cooled air gets exhausted out the room as well. You might consider a dual fan setup. One fan to exhaust the heat out of the hood to the outside and another fan that will recirculate room air into a carbon scrubber. This can be done pretty effectively by sealing the intake ports on the hood.

does anyone know what the best way to manage temps and odor in a tent while still having the option of using co2 enrichment?

reverse-engineer the hvac 1st... as much time as takes.

plants are easy. beans ubiquitous.

build room-in-room.

scrubber from condenser-side of ac > [exhaust]. end.

enjoy your garden!

lung 4 a tent

get a massive industrial plastic bag with no holes bag needs to be 1m/1m/2m like a small tent.. set up the tent with a aircooled hood with a good seal.and seperate in and outake fans put the above air con into the bag have to put a long flex on it.. 2 pices of ducting need to be placed into the bag and sealed round the flex..... then put the speed controlers on your intake and exhaust run lamp for 6+ hours and play with temps and dial in with a hygrometer in the tent and remote on the ac.... don't bust the bag...

this mght work with co2 or sealed breedind while frowering other males in a houe with no pollination happening if tent is in a bag It cant escape I would asume loads of peeps everywhere did this MAX LUMENS SHOWED ME..
