Ventalation question!!

Hi all. I have a 10x10 garden and am bringing in air from a 4in fan and sucking out the room with a 8in fan connected to the lighting through duct. My question is how long do I run my 8in fan for? I have been running it for 24 hours and noticed fan leaves dying out. Are they dying because it should not be pulling out at a constant pace? The room seems to get very hot whenever I have tried to turn it off for even 10 minutes. Please help me with your opinions. Thanks!

Pics? Some details please!

One of the most misunderstood, and one of the most easily solved problems is ventilation. A ventilation system is only as big as its smallest aperture. An eight inch circle has four times the area as a four inch circle. You want roughly 2 to 1 ratio of intake port area to exhaust port area. The "Ventilation 101," sticky by Redgreenery, at the top of this forum should answer most any question you have about it.

As for the plants, heat could be one of the reasons they're hurting, but it could be a number of other reasons as well. Hence, a few more details would help define the problem you're having.
