Vent to Ozone then to Carbon Scrubber or Vica/versa???

Hola Amigos,

I've been trying to figure something out concerning odor issues.

The room will be sealed and obviously have an intake and exhaust on the other end.

I've seen many posts that suggest combining multiple methods of odor control ...

So i've been thinking should odor be pulled from the flower room through a carbon filter and then vented through an inline Ozone Generator (reliable brand ??) which exhausts outside of the growroom into the surrounding basement area ???

OR

Should the air be pulled from the flower room and vented through the inline Ozone generator and then exhausted into the Carbon Filter ??? Would the 03 mess with the Carbon at all in a negative way?

In my experiences, fresh carbon with the highest rating does the job alone.

Not too sure the ozone would effect the carbon.....but you should know that ozone exposure can cause health problems. Whether it be messing up once and being exposed to a large amount, or small amounts over a long term period.

That alone would make me want to scrap the ozone idea....but that's me...not you.

But I suppose if ya do it anyways....it would be best to have the air form the room go through the carbon and then through the ozone. It would be good to keep the ozone away from the plants.

I plan on using an Inline ozone generator in the exhaust ducting. Set up in the ducting line a few feet outside of the grow area

what kind of scrubber are you running, with how many pounds of carbon? and How many CFM's is your fan? Is it loud?

449cfm Vortex Powerfan, it's pretty quiet for what it moves. All you hear is the wind being forced at such a rapid rate. It's hooked up to a Can50, which is pretty heavy. I don't know if the fifty means fifty pounds of carbon or what, but it's pretty heavy and works like a charm.
